Hello, I’m Daniel, a research-driven storyteller, creative producer and motion designer. I’ve been creating and experimenting with visual storytelling for over nine years now, blending journalism, film, and design to tell stories that matter. I’m passionate about projects that educate and inspire; from documentary films and explainer videos to digital campaigns and motion graphics. I’ve collaborated with organisations like UN Climate Change (UNFCCC), BBC Africa, GIZ's International PtX Hub, BBC Media Action, and the International Trade Centre (ITC), bringing ideas to life through visuals that connect research with emotion. I hold a BA in Mass Communication from Fourah Bay College in Sierra Leone and an MA in Digital Narratives from the ifs internationale filmschule Köln in Germany.. When I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me learning new design tricks, Traveling and exploring, or at the gym building muscles :))

Research Creation
I specialise in transforming research into clear, visually compelling narratives that inform and engage. My process involves weeks or months of deep research analysing data, exploring historical context, and developing scripts that translate complex topics into stories people can understand and connect with.From there, I design the visuals that bring those scripts to life combining motion design, storytelling, and sound to communicate ideas that resonate.I have applied this approach through collaborations and consultancies with organisations across Europe, Africa, the UK, and the United States, producing research-based visual content for educational, cultural, and social impact.Even my master’s degree project at the ifs internationale filmschule Köln was a research-creation initiative a digital graphic novel titled Mandi, exploring climate change and flood vulnerability in Sierra Leone. This work reflects my ongoing commitment to merging research, art, and communication to make knowledge accessible and emotionally powerful.

Motion Design
A friend once joked that with my motion skills, I could tell a silly story and people would still watch it and honestly, that might be true.I create documentary-style videos, explainer pieces, and quick, visually engaging social media stories. Through strong visuals, smart editing, and motion graphics, I bring complex ideas to life and make them impossible to scroll past.Adobe After Effects is my primary tool, supported by the full Adobe Creative Suite and enhanced by new AI-assisted workflows that streamline creativity and precision. My approach blends design, storytelling, and timing to produce motion pieces that are not only visually appealing but also strategically impactful.Whether working on a data-driven explainer or a short digital campaign, my focus remains the same: to use motion design as a language that informs, inspires, and connects.

From concept to delivery, I craft multimedia content and strategies that help organisations and brands connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. I combine strong storytelling with communication strategy, campaign development, and field research to design messages that resonate and drive action.I’ve worked with international institutions including the International PtX Hub (GIZ) in Bonn, Deutschland, the International Trade Centre (ITC) Geneva - (Freetown), and UN Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Bonn, Deutschland, supporting projects that bridge policy with people.Beyond production, I’m passionate about youth engagement creating campaigns and digital content that empower young people to learn, participate, and lead conversations around social change.
