How do you turn an idea into a video essay?After making several research-driven documentaries, I started documenting the process behind how I develop them — from finding an initial question and researching an idea to collecting information, connecting ideas, developing a story, and turning research into a visual narrative.This video is a look into my personal approach to research-driven storytelling and video essay production. Rather than presenting a fixed formula, I document how I think through an idea, organise research, find connections, and gradually shape scattered information into a story.The first episode uses my Kaodenero documentary as a case study, showing how research, curiosity, visual thinking and storytelling come together in my process.
